So lastnight I decided that I wanted to upgrade to the newest version of WordPress. That was a dumbass thing to do. I should have waited until it had been out longer & things had been worked out smoother. I’m glad that I backed up all of my files & the database because honestly I thought I would have to go back to the previous version.

The auto upgrade feature in WordPress didn’t work correctly so I had to do it manually which usually isn’t a problem but, I was having server difficulties at the same time. I had to screw around with all the plugins & themes because one of them broke the WordPress admin panel.1

In the process I put up another layout, added some plugins & generally tweaked the site … If you spot a problem just let me know :)

Behind the scenes

So for the past 2 hours I have been working behind the scenes on this site and WordPress. I updated all my plugins and went through all of my old posts that I imported and added catagories and tags to them all.

I was so sick of the catagories on the side bar not being accurate because everything imported as uncatagorized.

Anyway have fun and enjoy :lol:

I’m alive. This work schedule is killing me. I don’t get another day off until next Sunday. Blogging is really going to be scarce until next week. I also have Kidlet’s birthday party next Sunday too.

So I am off to be a busy bee :lmao:

I’ve been working on this site since 9:30 this morning although you can’t really tell. After much whining to Rai I finally got my B2 entries imported over to WordPress and my layout converted as well. I didn’t get the skins to work but screw it.

Kidlet suddenly got a rash tonight. I think she was allergic to one of the ingredients in the pizza we ordered. So I gave her Benadryl & slathered her in Hydrocortisone cream so hopefully that will take care of it. BD was bitching about wanting me to take her in tonight but, that is just stupid it’s better to just wait & see if the Benadryl works or not.

I’m really enjoying having today & tomorrow off. If anyone notices anything that needs to be fixed drop me a comment & let me know :lol:
