Jingle Bells, Batman Smells

So yesterday afternoon after I was finished with my dentist appointment my bff Sara called me and she wanted to go get some Christmas shopping done since she had the day off and so I decided to go with her.

We haded out to one of the shopping plaza’s out in the suburbs and we hit Kohl’s, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Rue 21, Old Navy and Target and then we went to have some dinner before coming home. So this is what I bought for Kidlet yesterday:

  • White outdoor vest – Old Navy
  • Hat & Fingerless gloves (black, white & pink w/ skulls & hearts) – Rue 21
  • Hello Kitty pencils – Target
  • Christmas slinky – Target
  • Ripstick – Target

Now the other presents that I have gotten her so far are:

  • Michael Jackson The Experience for Wii
  • Eye makeup kit
  • Chattering Cookie Monster
  • Cookie Monster Snuggie
  • Build a lamp kit
  • Bento box stationary kit
  • Color your own tattoo kit

I still would like to get her a gift card to both Claire’s & Aeropostale along with some mini body sprays from Bath & Body Works for her stocking but, I will have to see what happens.

Christmas time again??

I can’t believe that the year is almost over and Christmas is so damn close. I adjusted this layout to be Christmasish last weekend but, I really haven’t felt like blogging at all.

Tomorrow when Kidlet gets home from her father’s house we are going to put up the tree and all the trimmings. Which means, when I get up I have to dig out the tree & decorations from somewhere in the depths of the basement. I am hopeful that when they were last packed up by my Mother’s boyfriend that he put everything together because it seems like every year I have to go buy new stockings because they just freaking disappear.

I have already figured out a few of Kidlet’s presents. The big ones are going to be The Michael Jackson Experience game for the Wii and a Ripstick. I already got her a Cookie Monster snuggie and I think I will also be getting her imitation uggs, a $25 gift card to Claire’s, a gift card to Areopostale and some crafty type kits.

Her stocking is going to be filled with the required assortment of candies, mini body sprays, mini nail polishes, and lip gloss / chapsticks. I also think that I am going to top off her stocking with a bunch of candy coal to freak her the hell out :P

Now, that she is 12 I have no clue what to get her. This child already has almost every gadget possible! She has a cell phone, iPod touch, Nintendo DSI and in the house we have various laptops, a desktop and almost every other gaming platform so she doesn’t need or want any of that.

Anyone have other ideas for me??

Merry Christmas!!!

We actually had Christmas dinner last night since Kidlet wasn’t going to home tonight and poor mom can’t leave the house to go to my Grandma’s. Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn & pumpkin pie yum yum! Kidlet ended up waking me up by 7:30 to open her presents so she ended up getting 3 pairs of skinny jeans, 2 shirts, a hoodie, 2 body sprays a pack of hair bands, a bunch of accesories, 2 snowball makers a real tool kit, a DS game, a Nightmare Before Christmas Snuggie, Webkinz and a few other things. We then spent teh rest of the morning just hanging out. BD came and got Kidlet around noon and I’ve vegetated all day.

I downloaded episodes of The Vampire Diaries, cleaned the house and that is pretty much it. I will be watching a few episodes now then getting into the shower since I have to be at work by 7:30am tomorrow *BOOOOOOOO*

I can haz break?

Things have been so hectic since mom’s hip replacement surgery! Kidlet has been sick through the whole thing so that hasn’t helped any either. She is now taking amoxicillan and is starting to feel better and the cough is going away.

Mom is slowly moving around more although when her PT person came the other day the lady just sat there and did no actual PT stuff. Mom just keeps getting frustrated and upset that she can’t do things that she would normally do without a problem.

I’ve been taking the bus after work each night to stay over because we don’t want to leave her alone all day yet. I’ve been getting there around midnight, going to bed at 2am then getting up by 6:30 at the latest so to say that I am exhausted is a total understatement!

I’m planning on going shopping Sunday with Kat since we both have the day off. Bill is giving me $100 this weekend for his rent so I will have $200 to buy stuff for Kidlet. I know that I am going to get her a few pairs of skinny jeans & maybe some shirts from Hot Topic. I think an iTunes or Barnes & Nobel gift card is a good idea as well. I think the stocking stuffers will be things like chapstick, lipgloss, body sprays & I can’t forget the candy :)

Then there is this stuff that is going on with Keri & Bill. I feel like a kid stuck in the middle. She says that she isn’t pissed about Bill staying with me but, I know she is .. it’s all in the tone of her voice. She keeps pulling this shit where if I don’t talk to her she leaves me shitty messages but, fuck I am busy! I can’t talk at mom’s house at night for fear of waking everyone up, I can’t talk while I’m at work, I can’t talk while walking home because it is freezing out and otherwise I am busy taking care of my mom.

It’s funny though that she called Kat the other day with her abuse sob story amd Kat pretty much just shot her down lmfao! I don’t want to get in the middle of the drama .. I’m only worried about their daughter in all of this!
