Cammie.me’s History:
Jenn has been after me for months & months to buy this domain since Cammie is one of my nicknames and it was still available. I didn’t really need another domain name but, peer pressure is a motherfucker and what can I say? I finally caved lol.
My web history:
I have had a plethora of domains since around 2000 many of which I can’t even remember the names of lol. I started out wanting a website because of Neopets.com and then it just kind of evolved into blogging. First it was done by hand, next came greymatter, B2 and now WordPress.
For the first few years I constantly studied HTML, PHP and CGI. I also was a wiz in Photoshop and I taught many of my close friends how to do the same.
These past few years I have been so busy being a single working mom that most of my sites got seriously neglected and ended up closing.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I opened a graphics program or coded my site by hand. I have gotten totally spoiled by the way WordPress plus an assortment of various plugins can basically run my entire site.
