So Tuesday night I got registered for all my classes without a problem. Since I was all prepared the adviser that was reviewing what I wanted just basically signed off on it. The adviser did recommend that I not take any of my classes online but, I told her if the degree is offered as a program that can be completed all online then why would you tell people not to? I chose this degree in large part due to the fact that I don’t have to worry about commuting in the snow everyday. During the fall semester I might consider taking more classes on one of campuses but, who knows. I also found out that I can start placing my textbook order on the 21st and the campus bookstore will pull the books & email me when they are ready for pick up. That will really save me time. My Mom is just amazed at how I can register, order books & take classes all online. It isn’t anything like the way it was when she had to do these things 15+ years ago.
Thursday I had an appointment at my doctors to get refills on my prescriptions, get my flu shot and I also needed an MMR shot as required by my new school. I also, ended up getting a medication to help me sleep since I am only managing about 3 to 4 hours per night as a side effect of my depression medication. By the time I got home from my appointment & doing some of my other errands I felt exhausted. I started feeling pretty sick & feverish as the night went on. Friday I slept until almost 11am and I still felt really sick. I think it was the combination of the 2 shots that did me in. Anyway, I managed to get this layout switched over to a Christmas one while I was vegetating on the couch yesterday and today I feel much better.
I do have to catch up with my housework so I suppose I should stop writing & start working
