Yesterday was just a day to kick back & relax. I hung out with Kidlet and my Mom all day watching TV and reading. I did do my nails also . I ended up doing an acrylic overlay on my real nails because my nails have been so destroyed by the fake nail tips that they are weak & splitting so hopefully this will help them in the long run. Plus they looked like hell with nail polish on because the nails weren’t smooth at all.

After Kidlet was picked up for the weekend by her father (is it wrong to say that I am kind of thankful that he gets her on weekends so that I can have a day off from her PMS?) we went and did some essentials shopping at Walmart, the dollar store and also made a stop at Sally’s Beauty.

I went a little over board with munchies because I was starving but, other than that I didn’t buy anything non-essential at Walmart. The dollar store … well that’s another story lol. I got extras like nail polish, plastic cups (how my Mom has lived without large cups is beyond me … she only had mugs and tiny plastic cups), a large print word search book for my Mom & oh about $16 worth of stuff.

But, the good thing was that my last check for my unused PTO was actually direct deposited yesterday morning. That was kind of a surprise! We all figured they would be dicks and issue a paper check that would take forever to cash & clear because it is from some random ass bank based out of Ohio. Maybe they felt sorry for laying off three stores worth of people? Nah probably not lol.

Right now I am sitting in Bruegger’s drinking an Iced Green Tea while waiting to meet up with a friend so I figured that I would blog since I brought my netbook. Anyway, my friend just walked in so I guess I should pack it up.
