So as of Tuesday 4/12 I was finally made a store manager. I was actually made manager of our biggest location in my city. I wasn’t aiming that high as I would have preferred to manage one of the other locations but, I’m not foolish enough to turn down an almost $9,000 per year raise (I didn’t think that I looked thaat dumb but, ya never know lol).

This week I have been training the new assistant manager that is taking over my original store plus pulling an extra closing shift due to a call in.¹. I have been trying to figure out how to juggle the schedule at my stores along which is crazy enough but, add having to train 1 manager that was just hired along with 5 sales associates too is enough to drive anyone insane!

I left work early today because I was exhausted due to working two shifts yesterday 8:30p to 4p & 11p to 3a then turning around and having to be back in at 8:30a. I told my area manager that I was going home early to die lol. I just dont want to push the no rest card too far since I am just getting over pnuemonia and I really can’t afford to get sick again so soon.

Tomorrow I get to work a half day then spend the afternoon at a follow up appointment with my dentist.I also have to remember to call Kat to set up having her Mom watch Kidlet next week since there is a vacation AGAIN and not only do I have to work during the day that week but, so does my Mom & her boyfriend has training for a new job all week. In 3 months Kidlet will be old enough to stay home alone so we won’t have have this particular problem anymore.

I have so much to do when I get home but, I knew I should stop & eat before I went home because I’m so tired that I know I’m too lazy to even bother making anything when I get home. I just want to get in my jammies, crawl under the blankets and just crash until I have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow morning.

I am going to try and get lots of rest this weekend. I plan on going to bed early Friday night and sleeping in on Saturday. I do have tenative plans for Saturday night but, we all know how plans usually turn out! Sunday I have to work 8a – 4p *booo*.

I guess I should go since this chair is starting to hurt my ass. How is that even possible since I have a large fleshy one? lol
