So, I know a post to follow up since my surgery has been uber delayed but, hey I am slow what can I say?

I had my surgery the 25th of February and let me tell you it was BRUTAL! I was supposed to have IV sedation but, the dentist couldn’t find a vein after numerous tries so I had to be awake for the whole thing and honestly there was not enough novacaine for parts of it. Then, I was ushered out the back door without paper aftercare instructions much less any extra gauze. I am so glad that the dick dentist is not my actual dentist! Yes, I did call and complain about my treatment to the main branch of the dental office plus my insurance carrier.

The recovery has been pretty killer as well. I was popping the vicodin at the max dose 2 pills every 4 hours for a good 5 days. Of course I couldn’t really eat much besides applesauce & cottage cheese so trying to get enough food in me to make sure that I didn’t feel sick from the pain meds and the antibiotics was a chore.

I battled that out until last Friday when I had to go to Cleveland Ohio for vendor showcase for work. I live about 4 to 41/2 hours away from Cleveland so we¹ had to start driving at 5:30am to get there by 10am. The drive went pretty fast and my mouth didn’t bother me too much but, I did make sure to take 1 vicodin pill every 4 hours to stay on top of my pain². The showcase went really well! I walked out with more product knowledge then I thought I would gain³ and brought home goodies galore. I came home with bags from MD Science Labs / Swiss Navy, Pipedream, Lelo⁴, and even my companies branded stuff.

I also met a lot of the corporate people that I deal with every week, toured our warehouse and got some one on one face time with the owner of the company. They vendors also had lunch catered but, sadly I was sitting in a corner eating my applesauce like it was going out of style. We left after 4 pm and end up getting home by 9:30pm and I was passed out way before 10pm.

I have more to write about me getting an assistant manager at work but, there is so not enough time for me to keep sitting here in Bruegger’s⁵ to write that all up.
