Tattoos, Books & Product Pushing

So since I’ve blogged last nothing much has changed on the work front. I’ve been busy pushing our products, training new sales associates and prepping for inventory that is Tuesday. Speaking of inventory I have so much shit that I HAVE to get done tomorrow while I am at work it is crazy. I probably won’t get out until late as hell.

Anyway, I got my chest piece worked on a whole bunch so it now looks basically nothing like in my last dailybooth photo. There are roses, thorns, and stars everywhere. On my second session a student from one of our local colleges came in and asked if she could take pics for her artists in industry project. It didn’t bother me at all so somewhere there are pics of me getting tattooed floating around. I have to wait until the new outlines & shading have all healed & pealed before I can get the color put in and he can add some other stuff too.

I also managed to break the washer last week and had to have the Kenmore guy come and fix it. Well, ok I didn’t really break it but, there was a part that controlled the agitator that gave up after oh something like 14 years of constant use. Which really is amazing for an appliance or at least I think so. So yeah last Sunday night I had a washer full of water & wet clothes that I had to deal with. Then the Kenmore guy can out Wednesday brought the part but, couldn’t fix it until Friday. Needless to say I am spending my Sunday doing laundry.

Friday I finally bit the bullet and bought an ereader. I read so much both on my laptop & printed books that it really made sense just to spend the money on the reader because in the long run it will save me money because I am sure that I spend more than $200 per year just buying books. Anyway, I ended up buying the Wi-Fi Nook. I figured that I already have so many ebooks that I can transfer over so I won’t really need the 3g network to download on the go. I love the fact that I can expand the memory and that the battery is replaceable unlike other ereaders. Yes, I already have something like 40 books on it and I finished reading one last night. I am a true geek what can I say?
