Dear Kidlet,

This morning we dropped you off at your new school for the next 6 years. As you got out of the car you cautiously walked up to the door to wait … along with the kids that are bigger than I am. I was so terrified that I wanted to drag you right back to the car. But, I didn’t … I let you go just hoping that everything would be ok.

It seems like just yesterday that I left you in your kindergarten class with tears in my eyes as you were so scared to be with so many kids. Just remember that I love you and you will always be my baby.
