Work so far this week has sucked majorly! We have these douchebags from corporate that have only been with the company for about 7 weeks that are now our regional managers and our old district manager was demoted back to a manager.
Today for my entire shift these morons were resetting our store and most of what they did either didn’t make sense or was already done yet they act like they made this HUGE change and want credit for it. I can see trying to make things eye catching for customers but, honestly when the outside of the building looks like a scab nobody wants to even come in thinking that it’s some seedy hole in the wall joint.
These people need to get their priorities straight! I mean I have been there 5 years as of last month and I’m only making either 75 cents or a dollar more than I started out at. They say that it is based on performance & merit reports but, I am there half dead with pneumonia working and I have only had 1 bad merit shopper report and that was because I was out of work the 2 days prior and I only showed up that night because there was nobody to cover my shift at all.
Ugh I so need a new damn job!!

And I tend to like some hole in the wall joints. There's a few stores that look that way in a downtown area a few towns over where I live. They have some pretty nice stuff in them. Then again, they don't look "scabby" either. But they certainly don't look super flashy either though.
With how the economy is right now, finding a job is a huuuuuuge problem. The only reason why I got the job that I have is because the store is only opening December 4th, and it's the first of the chain to open up in New Jersey. It's in a bunch of other states, but has never had a store in my state. So… I went to a job fair for the place, and got the job. Finding a job at stores that are already open is just a major hassle and headache right now.
I hate how people think they can knee,elbow,hip their way into being important!
That's crazy you haven't gotten a raise yet. I think if I was demoted, and I previously held a regional manager position or something like it, I'd probably start going to a company that needed me. The company you guys work for obviously are too greedy to figure out how to maintain a good relationship with their employees!
Yeah well my website seemed pretty often to be like my job.I always felt obligated to update and add new resuources and stuff so a break was what I needed.

Sorry to hear that work hasn't been going that great. That sucks that you have to put up with those morons, I would get extremely frustrated. I hate it when people think they're "all that", when they actually don't deserve credit for anything.

I know exactly how you feel – that is why I left my ole job.
My former boss's boss aint like me and his reason for not liking me is cause this one time I screwed up he going to hold that shit over my head. Than I hear my former boss quit and his boss now took his place – now you know that fucker wanted my ass gone and will do anything to get rid of me including fire my ass…long story short – I bounced.
So, yes – I know all too well where you are coming from – corporate, esp when their asses just started – corporate level, especially when u in a store job – bunch of dumb asses especially when they don't know jack shit bout the actual store operations and how a store work first hand cause all they got that corporate care bout is a freaking degree in management with no actual in store experience…
I hate shit like that…that is just messed up and yah if I was you I would start looking for something better – that is no job when your higher level are complete set of idiots.
