So on Friday morning when I woke up I heard water running in my kitchen. I went out to see what the hell was going on and as I stood there in my duckie jammies staring dumbly at the ceiling as I realized that I had a waterfall of epic proportions coming down from the kitchen ceiling.

Apparently the landlord hired some dumb fuck to put in the kitchen sink for the apartment upstairs. Which would have been all good had he thought to verify that the water to the pipe that was capped that he was cutting was off. NOPE! So for about 15 minutes I had how water pouring through the pressboard tile ceiling, into the ceiling light & on the stove and counters not to mention almost 2 inches of brown cruddy water on the floor. The “handy man” couldn’t find the water shut off for upstairs so he eventually just turned off all the water to the house. No he didn’t offer to help clean up the water at all! I was not thrilled to be cleaning up this nasty ass water and not be able to have any clean running water while I was at it. I ended up having to go to Keri’s house to take a shower.

As of Sunday Bill had to take down the 2 ceiling tiles that were about ready to come crashing down while waiting of the landlords homeowner insurance adjustor to deal with this. Bad enough my whole house smells like wet pressboard and it is freaking killing my allergies.

It has now been 5 days of buckled ceiling tiles, a water logged light & a nasty smelling apartment. If something isn’t done in a few days I am going to chew out the landlord & call the NET office and report her if I have to. This is bullshit because I always pay my rent early if not on time and I never complain about anything but the rats.

Which by the way there is still one in my house and the person the landlord hired to go under the house and front porch and fill in the holes were the rodents keep getting in has never gotten back to her at all after saying that they would do it. I am really not fucking happy at this point to say the least!
