With all the stuff that went on Saturday it really didn’t feel like a day off. Honestly none of my days off have felt like that lately since I have been sick and so busy doing stuff with Kidlet.

Yesterday Kidlet got dropped off at about 8:30 and we were going to go to one of the parks but, it was kinda crappy out so we (ok Kidlet) spent the day relaxing around the house. I did the lovely domestic crap such as a load of laundry & dishes and I also made some boxed augratin potatoes per Kidlet’s request. I laid down about 1:30 and napped until 2:30 or so then got ready for work, Kidlet got picked up and then I headed to work. After work I packed lunches for our trip the next day and didn’t end up falling asleep until after 4 am.

This morning Kidlet showed up around 8:30 again and I hurried up and we were at the Library by 9:30 (after catching the bus there). We pretty much just putzed around there till about 11, had lunch, then did some exploring of our river & dam before heading back to the Library. We left there around 1:15 and headed home.

We ended up stopping at the Dollar Store and the Kidlet just HAD to buy 2 sets of fake nails, a large bottle of nail super glue¹, Chinese finger traps, and a pail & shovel. I got 2 things of black hair dye², a black mascara & a eyeglass repair kit. Really what is it with plastic framed glasses constantly having the hinge screws come loose?

They we pretty much just hung out at home until Kidlet left around 4. Oh! Kidlet did lose another tooth today though. Her baby molars were capped with silver a long time ago and earlier she freaked thinking that the cap was coming up when it actually turned out that the whole thing was loose. Unfortunately she must have yanked it out herself. I really thing the tooth fairy should go on strike for that one lol.

Anyway, I guess I am going to settle in and watch a movie or something. I have to be up early because I have a shitty ass appointment that I have to take care of. Hopefully the lines wont be too long and I will be able to come back home and take a nap before I have to head to work.
