Did it really happen?

Saturday Jenn drove up here from KY with Cody and Dustan. They arrived between 12:30 and 1am (well Sunday morning if you really wanna get technical lol). I started to get so excited and nervous at the same time as they got closer. Jenn and I have been talking on and off line for like 9 years. We had planned to meet in person before but something always happened to screw up the plans.

Anyway, when I opened the door Jenn and I pretty much just squealed and hugged lol. Everyone was hungry so they dumped off their stuff and we went off to find some food. We stopped at 7-11 so Jenn could get a Slurpee (She is an addict lol) then we stopped at McDonald’s drive thru where the boys were greeted with a shining example of the shitty rude customer service that you receive in NY.

Afterwards we pretty much just came back to my house and started drinking. After awhile we dogpiled into my bed cuddled and slept.

We got up Sunday morning and went out to one of the local diners for Brunch. Then we strolled the shops on the street where I work. Cody bought a pipe and a poster, Dustan got a poster and Jenn got some postcards. Then we went downtown and did the tourist thing and took pictures of the buildings and the river.

We then decided to go play Lazer Tag. Talk about hot & sweaty! lol Jenn and I tried to have eachother’s back most of the time. We were so tired out that we came back home early hung out, watched movies, and ate pizza. K came over and all us girls started getting silly. Mostly my fault for opening one of my drawers and breaking out “Red Rocket” lol.

Eventhough we really didn’t do anything special I really enjoyed just spending time with Jenn in person. There are only two things that I would change about the visit. 1) That we could have had more time together and 2) that we would have taken more pictures of the two of us together. We were so busy we really just didn’t think about it. Also, her being here was like we had always lived in the same state. I think that is because she has been such a big part of my life despite the distance that it was like she was here anyway.

We need to do this again soon … only no speeding tickets, tribbles, spitting crackheads, snow, rain, cold and add more booze lol. I <3 you my Jenn!
