So Sunday was the Kidlet’s birthday party. I have never spent so much time putting stuff together for a party that only lasted 2 hours!

The theme was a luau so everywhere were tiki faces and fish. Hell, I even made a cake that looked like a fish. I think the 2 biggest pains in the ass were putting up the party gazebo and blowing up a zillion balloons. Seriously, I have to quit smoking … Just picture a big girl that smokes trying to blow up 50 balloons. It was not a pretty sight let me tell you. I had to sit down while blowing them up after a while because I got so dizzy.

I think there were 20 kids ranging from the age of 2 to 13 and mostly girls. Oy, that many girls together requires ear plugs! Everyone had a ton of fun and it didn’t rain until everyone was ready to go home.

Kidlet went to her dad’s on Monday and she got a crap load of presents from everyone.

Now to find a place to put everything *sigh*
