So, today is the day that everything changes at work. Our new security system is going to be installed. 8 to 10 cameras that are constantly on out on the floor, behind the counter & in the back room.

The system can basically be logged into by the General Manager from any computer that he is at in another state.

We work single coverage for 8 hour shifts, no breaks, no lunch, no sitting, no reading, no cell phones no nothing.

I have to stay constantly busy whether there are people in the store or not.

I understand that I am being paid to do a job but, I like to go my own pace and I get my work done in the 8 hours that I am there. I’m not cool with being spyed on.

If I have to go to the bathroom (which I do alot) I want to be able to lock the door quickly and not worry about being yelled at for it. I don’t want to take shit for not coming out from behind the counter when I don’t feel comfortable with some of the crazies that I get at night.

This job isn’t going to last much longer I can tell you that much.
