It feels so nice to have a new domain with a new host. I’ve been busy trying to set things up in a way that makes sense and through wordpress and also trying to enjoy what is left of the summer with the Kidlet.

It has been so damn hot here lately I could swear that my house was melting into a light blue puddle! Up until this summer I never really had an interes in getting a/c or central air because it simply never got that hot or uncomfortable for me. Now? If I replace my furnace i will get central air. I think I am getting way too old for this heat stuff.

I’m slowly working on getting the kidlet prepared for the 3rd grade (!!!). I bought her two bookbags so that she will have back up when she wears the hell out of the first one. She already has folders and crayons but, I’ll buy new pencils, erasers and a pencil sharpener. That is probably all she needs school supply wise but, I have no clue because the school district is assbackwards and sends a list home two days into school.

Clothes will be a bitch this year though. Kidlet has out grown all of her clothes and shoes from last year. If would be ok if she wasn’t starting to get into the whole “Mom, I gotta have that (insert name brand here) shirt!” stage.
